CINCINNATI — Star Cincinnati Bearcats safety Derrick Canteen is headed to the NFL Draft. The safety announced his decision on Wednesday after a strong season in Clifton.

Canteen finished with 44 tackles, five pass breakups, and one interception during his lone season in Clifton. It was good enough to earn a 79.8 PFF grade (third-highest on defense) on 535 snaps. The DB is not listed on the consensus big board.

Cincinnati will have to largely rebuild the secondary with Kalen Carroll, Josh Minkins, Jordan Young and Canteen all on the way out.
