Look: Dontay Corleone Named to 2024 Bednarik Award Watchlist

Cincinnati is hoping he can play a full season this fall.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati defensive tackle Dontay Corleone is on the 2024 Bednarik Award watchlist.

Corleone was one of 13 Big 12 players named to the watchlist. The Bednarik Award is earned annually by the nation's best defensive player.

Corleone wants to answer his All-Big 12 2023 season (39 tackles, 6.5 TFLs, 3.0 sacks, and one forced fumble) with even higher heights in 2024. He is still recovering from blood clots in his lungs as the UC medical team works him back into fall camp one step at a time.
