CINCINNATI — The PFF grades are in from Cincinnati's 31-24 loss to West Virginia on Saturday. Running back Evan Pryor led the team offensively with a 74.1 overall grade after another long TD to keep them in the contest .

The rest of the top five looked like Corey Kiner (65.1), Gavin Gerhardt (64.9), John Williams (64.3), and Evan Tengesdahl (62.1). At the bottom, quarterback Brendan Sorsby graded as the eye test showed with a team-worst 41.6 grade, followed by Jamoi Mayes (51.8), and Dartanyan Tinsley (52.8).

Sorsby has posted his lowest PFF grades of the season in consecutive games.

The defense performed much better, driven by Logan Wilson (91.6) and his interception. The rest of the top five looked like Jared Bartlett (89.5), Dontay Corleone (74.6), Jake Golday (70.9), and Simeon Coleman (70.2).

The front seven was very strong on Saturday, with no real major dud performances as every defender that played at least 10 snaps earned a 54-plus grade. Cincinnati needs to carry that defensive showing into Ames, Iowa next week.
