CINCINNATI — Cincinnati football head coach Scott Satterfield gave the latest update on Dontay Corleone as he is with the team at Camp Higher Ground.

Corleone has been going through individual drills but is not back to a full practice workload.

"We're taking this day by day, he's been out here, he's doing mainly a lot of individual drills and a lot of the walkthrough drills with the guys," Satterfield said on Monday. "Anything that our trainers and doctors will allow him to do he's doing. He's working on being in great shape and when he gets his opportunity, he'll be ready."

Cincinnati has a lot more defensive line depth this season to deal with Corleone's absence and the season-long injury to Mikah Coleman.

"(Jalen) Hunt's making some plays, (Darian) Varner, Eric Phillips, we're rotating a lot on the D-line," Satterfield said. "Shoot, I feel like we got close to 20 defensive linemen right now. And so we do have a lot of depth and I think if anything's good about Corleone not going right now is the fact that we are rotating in a lot of guys in there. So, hopefully, when Dontay is able to come back and play, those guys have gained a lot of experience and will be ready to help out."
