CINCINNATI —  The Bearcats got great news on Wednesday as sharpshooting wing Simas Lukošius announced his return for the 2024-25 season.

Lukošius was one of UC's best players this past season, averaging 11.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He shot a blistering 38.5% from deep (second in the Big 12) on 6.9 attempts per contest (fith most in the Big 12). Plenty of late-game heroics came from his steady hand over the past few months.

Cincinnati has two open roster spots after portal entries from Jamille Reynolds and Viktor Lakhin. Meanwhile, the Lithuanian will be one of UC's cornerstones this coming season as they try to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the 2020s.
