TUNNEL HILL — Devonte Taylor is the newest name to the Bearcats offer list after his spring practice visit.

Taylor is a 2026 wide receiver from Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio. He measures in at around 6-foot-2, 185 pounds and is unranked on a major service.

“It was nice to get the UC offer because not many people get big-time offers like that so for me to be one of those people I'm blessed,” Taylor stated to Bearcats Talk.

He talked a bit about his visit. “It was a good visit because every person I talked to there. They all showed love to me and they really made me like their program," Taylor said. "The way at practice they know how to compete with each other and have fun doing it at the same time so each side gets better is what caught my eye the most from my visit to Cincinnati.”

He talked about which coaches he had the chance to speak with.

“Coach (Scott) Satterfield, Coach (Brad) Glenn, and a couple of the recruiting directors," Taylor noted. "The conversations were really good I got to learn more about the history of the program and what they do now and I got to learn more about them. I do plan to visit again so I can see more of the facility.”
