Pinging The Portal: UTSA Forward Visiting Cincinnati, Sharpshooter Contacted

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats have contacted a couple of other talents in recent days as they look to fill the final available scholarship left on the roster. We start with UTSA big man Trey Edmonds III planning a visit to UC soon.
The 6-10, 255-pound forward posted seven points and 5.8 rebounds per game on 55.8% shooting last season.
He has one year of eligibility left. Check out his highlights here.

Cincinnati also contacted North Florida junior guard Chaz Lanier.
Lanier just posted 19.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this past season on an impressive 51.2% shooting (44% from deep on 7.5 attempts per game).
The 6-4, 199-pound talent has one year of eligibility left and could be a scorching addition to Cincinnati's already strong outside shooting force.
