Cincinnati Lands Among Four-Star 2025 Edge Rusher Tim Griffin's Top-Three Schools

The Bearcats are in the middle of the 2024 season.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati landed among the top-three schools for three-star 2025 edge rusher Tim Griffin out of Alcovy (Georgia) on Saturday. Rivals' Neil Meyer reported the news as Cincinnati keys in on a strong trench player.

UC made it into a group with Ole Miss and Florida State. 

According to 247Sports, Griffin is the 671st-ranked player nationally and the 73rd-best defensive lineman. The 6-5, 255-pound talent cut his list down from 14 offers over the past month. 

Griffin is a big, powerful edge that often rushes from a stand-up position, getting strong push with his base at those angles. He tackles soundly and has the frame to learn a varied combination of pass-rush moves.
