Cincinnati Loses Three-Star 2025 Safety Commit Jordyn Woods to Ohio State
CINCINNATI — Cincinnati football lost a second commitment in the 2025 class within hours of Jahari Medlock's flip to Florida on Monday. Three-star safety Jordyn Woods is headed to Ohio State after committing in June.
The 6-4, 183-pound cornerback hails from Cartersville High School in Georgia. According to 247Sports, Woods is the 1,273rd-ranked player nationally and the 117th-ranked cornerback. On3's Hayes Fawcett broke the news.
This hit drops Cincinnati to 15 commits in a class that ranked 63rd nationally on 247Sports before Woods bowed out. It's a sign of the times in college football as Cincinnati struggles to retain high school talent with scholarship totals expanding for each school.
Woods is the seventh player to de-commit from UC this cycle.
