Cincinnati Staff Compares Kolin Wilson To NFL Star Running Back Kenneth Walker II

Kolin Wilson from Alabama breaks down his offer as well as his NFL comparison

TUNNEL HILL — The Cincinnati Bearcats recently offered an Alabama high school prospect from the 2025 class. The newest name on the Cincinnati offer list is Kolin Wilson, who is unranked on a major service.

Wilson is from Gulf Shores High School in Gulf Shores, Alabama. He measures in at around 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, and has offers from many schools, including Cincinnati, UAB, Troy, and more.

“This offer really means a lot to me considering it is my first Power 5 offer. I’m just glad the staff took a chance on me,” Wilson stated. “Coach Sims spoke to me, and I think the conversation went really well. We both have a lot of common interests, and he is overall a really great coach and person in general. The staff believes I have a similar play style to (Seattle Seahawks running back) Kenneth Walker II, and they know that with the ball in my hands, I can make things happen. I feel like I could contribute to the program in a multitude (of ways), whether it’s catching the ball, running the ball, returning kicks, or punts. I just feel like I’m a versatile player overall.”

The talented Alabama prospect dove into what makes UC a special place.

“Cincinnati is unique because of the city’s vibrant sports culture and the passionate fan base. I also love the view in the city, and I think the school offers a great academic environment as well.”

He does have plans to visit, as he confirms to AllBearcats that he wants to visit soon. “I plan to visit really soon and hopefully get up to a spring practice.”
