Clemson Announces Spring Game Rosters

The Orange and White Game will have a new look this year, as Clemson matches up it's No. 1 offense with it's No. defense. See the rosters for each unit here.

Change is good. That's been the hope for Clemson football this off-season. The first spring with Garrett Riley as the team's new offensive coordinator and Cade Klubnik as its starting quarterback will culminate on Saturday with the annual Orange and White Game.

It's the first chance fans will get to see the team's new system and some highly-touted recruits. In keeping with the theme of the spring, Dabo Swinney and his staff have switched up the Spring Game this year, opting to pit the first-team offense against the first-team defense, instead of splitting teams up evenly talent-wise. Swinney broke down the reasoning behind the decision earlier this week on 105.5 The Roar.

"That is one change this year – and really just because we’ve got some guys that are out. And just wanted to try to give Cade the best opportunity to have a little continuity in front of him, with some change, obviously with a new offense this year, terminology and stuff,” Swinney said. “So it’s going to be a competitive day because we’re going to go... our first offense will be teamed up with our second defense if you will. And our first defense will be teamed up with our second offense. And that'll kind of be how the two teams are built."
