Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key is making his first trip to Clemson at the helm for the Yellow Jackets, but this is hardly his first matchup with Dabo Swinney and the Tigers. After spending the last decade as the offensive line coach at Alabama and Georgia Tech, Key is very familiar with Clemson.

"We're getting ready to play a good football team in Clemson," began Key at his press conference. "I think it's my eighth consecutive year of playing these guys; have had some good games on both ends. So excited to go up there to play, you talk about a standard that they've set in this conference and the standard they've set nationally. There are eight ACC championships, two national championships all in the last 12 years. So that is a standard for this conference that they've been able to be. So our team is gonna be really excited to go up there. We're gonna be excited to play our best game and excited to go up there and play for 60 minutes and four quarters."

Clemson is coming off of a huge win against Notre Dame that has breathed some life back into this season. A big reason behind the win was Clemson reverting to some "old school football", pounding the ball on the ground and playing elite defense

"They're a good football team. Really good football team. Again, I don't look at records. With [the] film you watch, you know, there are things that I think Dabo's doing now to play to the strengths of his team. Don't forget who Dabo's football coach was, now talk about old-school values, I mean, played for Coach [Gene] Stallings if I'm not mistaken. So he knows how to win games that way too."

"Their defense is, talk about a standard. I mean, their defense is as good as anybody you've seen in the country collectively... got really good players. They've got good players that are older, experienced, they've got good players that are that are younger and getting better each week. And offensively. I think they're finding an identity for themselves right now. That's leading to some success formula to success last week."

Georgia Tech and Clemson will kickoff at Noon on ABC.
