Clemson Football: Positive Trends for the Tigers
Klubnik's improved play
In the last 2 games we have seen Cade Klubnik use his athleticism to be an improviser and seen him use his legs to add more of a dynamic to the rushing game. Klubnik over last two games: 64% completion percentage 545 total yards 4 total touchdowns. Seeing the strides and building confidence of Klubnik has paid dividends for the whole offense.
Taking more shots with the receivers
Last week it was the Tyler Brown show with 9 receptions, 157 yards, and 1 touchdown against Syracuse. Brown has emerged in the wide receiver room with the injury of Antonio Williams. The freshman has flourished with the new opportunities given to him. Another receiver who has been stepping up is Beaux Collins. He has been the deep ball threat for the Tigers this year and has been consistently there for Klubnik in the vertical game.
Seeing the offensive line dominate
The offensive line had their moments where they looked at a unit that could be one of the best in the ACC and at times has also looked like they could be one of the more disappointing parts of the team. The offensive line has given up nearly two sacks a game but there has been a lot of pressure on Klubnik this season. If the offensive line can play a full four quarters against a quality opponent like Wake Forest there might be a turn within the group to start a positive trend on the season.
