Clemson Football: Spread continues to move in favor of Florida State

The money in Vegas has been pouring in on Florida State over Clemson.

Florida State hasn't beaten Clemson in Clemson since 2013. Now, in 2023, the Seminoles (3-0, 1-0 ACC) are favored on the road, and the spread keeps getting bigger.

When the line initially opened, Florida State was listed as a 1.5-point favorite over the Tigers (2-1, 0-1 ACC), but as of Tuesday that line has moved to -2.5 as money has begun coming in on the Seminoles, per Caesar's Sportsbook/

The matchup is fascinating, Florida State is the No. 4 team in the country with a win over LSU under their belts, but, for whatever reason, they're currently less than a field goal favorite over unranked Clemson. That's something to be said for the national respect for Clemson and the "prove it" mindset surrounding Florida State.

The noon kickoff makes this one even more intriguing. Will one team sleepwalk through the first half? We saw Boston College almost sting Florida State last weekend in a sleepy noon kick. Now, they'll have to do it in Death Valley.
