Get up! It's a Clemson Football Game Day! FAU Edition
Clemson will be in the primetime spotlight when they play host to FAU tonight at 8 p.m.!
In this story:
The Clemson Tigers (1-1, 0-1 ACC) will face their final out-of-conference opponent on Saturday when they play FAU (1-1, 0-0 AAC) before kicking off a crucial five-game conference run. Looking to build on the momentum from the last three quarters against Charleston Southern, offensive coordinator Garrett Riley and quarterback Cade Klubnik will be under a microscope tonight.
FAU is led by first-year head coach Tom Herman, formerly the headman at Texas and Houston and offensive coordinator under Urban Meyer at Ohio State. Herman brought his former quarterback Casey Thompson from his UT days with him. The Owls have struggled to score this season but Clemson, a 24.5-point favorite, isn't in a position to take any team for granted.
- Weather: There's a small chance of rain on Saturday, but outside of that, the scene should be just about perfect at Memorial Stadium for the 8 p.m. kick. The temperature will be in the low 70s, falling into the 60s in the second half.
- Injuries: Defensive lineman Vic Burley, safety Andrew Mukuba, and wide receiver Cole Turner are all questionable as of now. We'll get an updated report from the school soon.
