Get Up! It's a Clemson Football Gameday! N.C. State Edition

Clemson (4-3, 2-3) and N.C. State (4-3, 1-2) will battle for the Textile Bowl Trophy on Saturday at 2 p.m. on the CW.

Listen, we know this isn't where the Tigers wanted to be at this point in the season, but we got to put that to the side today. This one runs deeper than one season. Clemson and N.C. State just plain don't like each other. No one wants to see the other team go home with the Textile Bowl Trophy. So it's time to buckle up for a game that's always good for some hard-nosed football and bruising defense.

Clemson leads the ACC in total defense, giving up less than 280 yards a game, while N.C. State is second in the conference in sacks with 22.

Tyler Brown

Clemson freshman wide receiver Tyler Brown will need to be big on Saturday for the Tigers.

Weather: It looks like we'll avoid the monsoons that typically accompany playing in Raleigh this time of year. Saturday is calling for clear skies, with the temperature around 80 degrees at kickoff. The humidity shouldn't be terrible, somewhere around 48%, per the Weather Channel

Injuries: As reported earlier this week, Clemson will be without wide receiver Antonio Williams (ankle) and safety R.J. Mickens (appendectomy) this week. Defensive end Justin Mascoll will be a game-time decision.

What they had to say: N.C. State head coach Dave Doeren on Clemson's defense: "Defensively, very talented, good defensive line - always aggressive in what they do, and the scheme has changed a little bit but you know, they're still multiple in their fronts and coverages. A lot of man-to-man and the defensive line, you know, has a lot of depth and good players on it. So excited, you know, to get back to work and go get ready for a great opponent here at home."

*** The easiest way will be to find the CW on your television, but if you're streaming only, it can get complicated. There isn't a traditional stream for this one like ESPN and ESPN.com. If you have YouTube TV, the same method applies to you as traditional television viewers, just find the CW on your service. If you have DirectTV - or some of the other providers - download their app and sign in to your account. Fubo also has a free trial if these other methods fail.
