Injury Report: Clemson at Miami
Injury Report
As Clemson (4-2, 2-2 ACC) gets ready to begin the second half of the regular season health becomes a bigger factor with each passing week. The hope is that the bye week can be used to regain some players that have been previously missing or at the very least improve the overall health of a roster that’s banged up.
Here’s a look at the current, updated injury report for both Clemson and Miami.
Miami
DOUBTFUL:
RB Mark Fletcher - Foot
- The freshman running back hasn’t played in either of the last 2 games for the Hurricanes and will likely be unable to provide depth against Clemson this week either.
OUT:
OT Samson Okunlola - Lower body injury
- Another talented guy who will miss this game and likely the rest of the year after being injured in the Georgia Tech loss earlier this month.
Clemson
Questionable:
WR Antonio Williams - Ankle
- Getting Williams back, after missing the last 3 games, would be a big boost to this offense and provide Klubnik with one of his better weapons once again.
CB Nate Wiggins - Knee
- Like Williams, Wiggins was close to returning in the game just before the bye and would bring back some needed experience to the secondary.
RB Jay Haynes - Ankle
- The freshman running back hasn’t seen much action this year, even when healthy, but he’s working his way back after missing the last 3 games to try and provide some depth.
CB Sheridan Jones - Illness
- Sheridan had an unusual absence just before the kickoff of the Wake Forest matchup by experiencing headache-like symptoms. Hopefully whatever Jones was dealing with is in the past with the extra time off and he can go back to his usual starting role this weekend.
OUT:
OT Walker Parks - Lower body injury
WR/DB Misun Kelly - Redshirt
DL Vic Burley - Knee
WR Cole Turner - Hip
