During his press conference on Wednesday, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney shared his thoughts on some of the coaches and players at Georgia Teach ahead of the Tigers' game against the Yellow Jackets on Saturday (9:00 ABC).

On Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Kevin Sherrer: "He's a good one. I actually was one of his [coaches]; he was a walk-on tight end for me before he became a coach, but he's an outstanding coach. He's worked on both sides. Most of his career has been a defensive guy. I used to recruit his school when he was coaching high school ball and then you know, just, he's had a great career, was in the pros, I guess, the last couple of years, but done a good job. I mean, they've, I guess it's been about four games now. They're three and one in those games and, are getting better each week."

On Georgia Tech offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner: "I don't know the offensive coordinator but very impressed with him. They've done a great job. Really, really good job. I mean, one of the top-scoring offenses, and 200 [rushing] - 200 [passing] really hard to do. Very creative, and he's done a great job of getting the ball to their playmakers. You know those guys, I mean, you're going to have to stop them because they're going to create touches."

On Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King: "He's a baller. He's a baller. Tough, gritty. loves to play. You can tell he's a good leader. I mean, he's a coach's son. He's been around ball his whole life. And you know, he's just got a lot of heart and grit. I mean, he's made a ton [of plays]. He's [the] second-leading rusher on the team, and they got some really good backs. But he can pick them up and put them down. He's a fast kid, he's not afraid to run. They run him - they don't design run him - but he's not afraid to pull it down and go, you give him any type of lane, he can smell it, he can smell the grass. And if you give him any type of free lane, he's gonna hurt you. I mean, it's not gonna be five yards, it's gonna be 15-25 yards. I mean, he's got that type of ability and then he's made some big, big plays, those receivers have made a lot of plays for him. They've done a nice job. He's got a good little group and the backs, they got a lot of stuff that they're doing but they're gonna run the counter, they're gonna run it with the back, and they're running with the quarterback, they're gonna run the stretch, you know, they're gonna get on the edge a little bit with some of their their sweep stuff and a lot of screen game. So they force you to defend all the field and then with his legs, it puts a lot of strain on you."
