With only one committed cornerback in the 2024 recruiting class so far, the Clemson Tigers are looking for other options to join up. 4-star Jalyn Crawford is one of those players that still have Clemson in the running after Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports reported that Crawford is narrowing down his top schools to a final 11.

Those other 10 schools include many likely candidates from around the Southeast including North Carolina, Florida, Miami, Georgia Tech, LSU, Texas A&M, Louisville, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Auburn.

The Parkview High School standout is also teammates with 5-star receiver Mike Matthews, a big-time Clemson target. Fawcett reported that Crawford gave him his reasons for including Clemson in the list, "Dabo told me his why and why he does things and the way he does things which is so genuine and unselfish which makes his team and coaches so great."

While LSU currently holds the lead in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine a final 11 usually means this recruitment is far from over and there could be many twists and turns ahead for the number 135 overall player in the nation.

Andrew Ivins of 247Sports gave a comprehensive scouting report on Crawford back in February of this year: "An aggressive cover corner that has held his own in Georgia’s highest classification. Measured 6-foot, 180 pounds in winter of 2023 and is believed to have an additional inch or two in his arms. Versed in both man and off-man coverage."
