Clemson's 2024 recruiting class picks up a new member for the first time since March 1st. It had been a long wait for Tiger fans but Drew Woodaz, the 3-star linebacker out of Tampa, Florida, finally ends the drought.

Woodaz measures in at 6'3 210 lbs and is the first linebacker to commit to Dabo Swinney in this class. He's also the 4th defender in this class joining cornerback Tavoy Feagin, safety Noah Dixon and defensive lineman Champ Thompson. Wade Woodaz, Drew's older brother, is a safety currently at Clemson and was a 3-star recruit from the 2022 class.

247Sports has Drew Woodaz ranked as the 69th-best linebacker in the country and 101st ranked player from the state of Florida. Woodaz player who is extremely excited to be able to wear the orange and white and in this day and age loyalty and reliability are attributes that weigh heavy in coaches' minds for recruits.

Back in January, when Woodaz was first offered by the Tigers, the linebacker told reporters it had been a dream to play alongside his brother in college ever since they were little kids. His brother Wade even put a picture up on his Instagram account of the two brothers attending a game at Death Valley wearing Clemson gear with the caption "Been dreaming of this since we were kids."

The younger Woodaz brother himself released a commitment tweet saying "Hey tiger Town... I'M ALL IN!!!" He told Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports that "I'm gonna bring hard work and dominance to Clemson to have another successful decade." Those strong words will sound like sweet music to fans. Woodaz chose the Tigers over other offers from schools like Oklahoma, NC State, Wake Forest, Iowa, and Pittsburgh among others.
