Ousmane Kromah is one of the most sought-after running backs in America. The class of 2025 prospect is currently ranked as the 3rd best back in his class per 247's Composite Rankings. While plenty of running backs can put up stats and showcase excellent highlight tapes, very few get to do it against the competition level Kromah does.

Playing for state power Lee County in South Georgia, Kromah has honed his skills against AAAAAA competition in Georgia, one of the best high school football states in the country. As a sophomore, he averaged 167.1 yards per game on the ground and found the endzone 20 times. That production and his talent have already earned him scholarship offers from schools like Alabama and Georgia. And while Clemson hasn't offered yet - they hold their offers close to the chest - the Tigers have been heavily involved. We caught up with Ousmane Kromah following a spring practice at Lee County. He shared some positive feedback about a certain Clemson coach.

"I love that coach [Clemson running backs coach CJ Spiller], genuinely," said Kromah. "I like him because he's been to the [NFL], he's done it already, he knows everything, and he's a person that ain't going to lie to you. He's going to tell you straight-up what it is, he ain't going to sugarcoat it and I like that."

So what part of CJ Spiller's journey does Kromah look up to the most?

"In high school, he didn't do just one sport. He tried to be a multi-sport athlete, which I am too, but it shows me that you don't have to really focus on one thing, you can focus on multiple different things to help your body and help you be the best player you can be."
