The Colorado Buffaloes won the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament in their first attempt in 2012. Twelve years later, Tad Boyle’s squad is listed among the favorites to claim the conference’s final crown.

After winning the regular season title, oddsmakers have listed top-seeded Arizona (24-7, 15-5 Pac-12) as the heavy favorites (-150) to capture their third straight conference tournament. Per Vegas Insider, third-seeded Colorado (22-9, 13-7 Pac-12) has the next best odds (+480) to win. Meaning you could win $48 on a $10 wager should you lay some coin on Colorado. The Buffaloes enter this week’s event on a hot streak having won their last six games.

Two-seed Washington State (23-8, 14-6 Pac-12) has never won a Pac-12 tournament; however, Kyle Smith’s Cougars have the third-best odds (+700) to win this year. The four-seed Oregon Ducks (20-11, 12-8 Pac-12) check in with the next best odds (+1200).

This week’s Pac-12 Tournament begins with four games on Wednesday, with No. 9 USC vs. No. 8 Washington tip off at 3:00pm ET on Pac-12 Network. The top four seeds (Arizona, Washington State, Colorado, and Oregon) all received a first-round bye and will open on Thursday. This marks the third time in the past four years the Buffaloes were idle to start the tourney.

Colorado will face the winner of Wednesday’s nightcap which pits No. 11 Arizona State vs. No. 6 Utah. The Buffaloes split with both the Sun Devils and Utes during the regular season.
