The Colorado Buffaloes will be without Cody Williams against 15th-ranked Miami Hurricanes in Brooklyn on Sunday.

The star freshman is dealing with a wrist injury, as first reported by Boulder Daily Camera writer Pat Rooney. This is the second game this season Williams will miss, but it doesn't appear to be a serious issue.

The McDonald's All-American is coming of back-to-back 20-point game for the Buffs. An obvious blow to the Buffs plans on the road against the Canes. Finding a replacement option to match Williams' output might be difficult for Tad Boyle. He was emerging at a threat on both sides of the floor to start the season.

Boyle will have to have more scoring from KJ Simpson and Tristan da Silva with Miami playing stout defense as of late. Luke O’Brien will likely be put in place of Williams for the game. Bangot Dak will also get more playing time for the first time this year.

Colorado faces No. 15 Miami in Brooklyn on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
