Aaronette Vonleh had 19 points in 25 minutes, leading 5th-ranked Colorado to a 76-61 win over Cal on Friday night. The eighth straight victory for the Buffaloes who only trailed for a two-minute span in the first quarter.

Frida Formann finished with 14 points on the night. Quay Miller added a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds as the other two in double-figures for CU. A great night shooting for the Buffs who went 30-of-57 (52.6%) and 9-of-18 (50%) from beyond the arc.

The Bears couldn't get going offensively and were held to 22 points in the paint. They also struggled with 18 missed three-point attempts. Marta Suarez scored 14 points in a losing effort. She was one of four Bears starters to finish in double-figures on the night. The second-least amount of points for Cal this season, after averaging 72.0 points per game coming into CU Event Center.

Colorado moved to 4-0 in conference play for the first time since 1995. JR Payne's team hits a critical stretch in the season with three straight games against top ten opponents. To put this all into perspective, this will be the first top ten battle in Boulder in nearly 30 years. If the Buffs can pull out victories in the next three games, they'll likely move up in the Top 25 rankings.
