Arizona linebacker slams Shedeur Sanders, saying, "Get your mind right, little boy."
Taylor Upshaw took aim at Shedeur Sanders on social media before Saturday's game. The Arizona linebacker and one-time Colorado transfer decided to make things personal by writing, "Get your mind right, little boy," with the Buffs QB tagged on the post.
Upshaw, a Michigan bounce back, spent a few months in Boulder before leaving for Tucson. A two-year starter for Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines had a decent resume but didn't make the cut for Coach Prime with reportedly "personnel issues."
Taylor is the son of star NFL player Regan Upshaw, who played in the same era against CU coach Deion Sanders with the five teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders.
Upshaw and wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig are both former Colorado transfers to Arizona. Wildcats coach Jedd Fisch was asked this week how both players would handle Saturday's game. He said, "We talk about it. We try not to make it personal, not make it emotional. Just play football."
Seems Fisch's words fell on deaf ears. It's surprising due to the fact Sanders played for Fisch, who was an assistant during his final two NFL years with the Baltimore Ravens.
