Kavosiey Smoke hasn't touched the ball often this season, which has been an interesting storyline. However, he still believes the Buffaloes could've gone undefeated, if not for selfishness.

Colorado (4-7) was knocked out of postseason contention by Washington State in a 56–14 blowout loss on Friday night. It was the fifth straight loss of Deion Sanders and the Buffs, who will try to pick up the pieces next year. As for Smoke, the Kentucky transfer was out of the Buffs rotation after being a go-to option in the Wildcats' offense for the greater part of the past five years. He aired out his frustration in a recently deleted tweet on X.

“Simple fact, Bru, we could’ve went undefeated this year too much selfish ball going on man can't win like that gotta play and win as a team but if u go the other route u get results like this," Smoke wrote.

Smoke hasn't been shy about sharing his feelings about what's been going on in Boulder. He had an earlier tweet saying, “Hurt I didn't get to show y'all my real talent that I know I got,”

From the outside, it feels like a wasted opportunity for Smoke to waste his final year of eligibility. He was touted as one of the better backs in the Buffs backfield prior to the start of the season. He ends his college career riding out snaps on special teams.

No word if Smoke will make the trip to Salt Lake City when Colorado faces Utah next Saturday. The Buffs will look forward to next year trying to find some momentum.
