Colorado rolls out Darth Vader blackout uniforms vs. CSU

The Buffs will be looking to dominate the Rams

The 18th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes will be "Back in Black" with the jersey combination for Saturday night's Rocky Mountain Showdown against CSU.

A lineup with Gold helmets and black jerseys and black pants. The "blackout gold rush" with nearly the opposite look of the iconic "Stormtrooper" all-white set used at TCU. It's an outstanding look that pays homage to Darth Vader. You can't forget the shades every CU player will be coming out wearing.

Colorado hasn't gone with a traditional combination this season until now and have yet to wear the black helmets. Don't worry, an all-gold uniform is bound to be in the works. There will also be a grey one as well.

The Buffs are expected to come out swinging as 23.5-point favorites over CSU. It's the 92nd Rocky Mountain Showdown in series history. Colorado has controlled the Centennial Cup for the past five meetings. A 10 p.m. ET affair from Folsom Field on ESPN.
