Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter part of NBA on TNT's Opening Night coverage

Buffs playmakers out with the stars at Nuggets championship banner ceremony

The 'Prime Effect' has now surfaced in the NBA. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter got to play a special role at Ball Arena on Tuesday night.

The Colorado Buffaloes star players were added to the NBA on TNT's opening night coverage lineup. The duo grabbed mics and did a pregame report prior to the Denver Nuggets raising their first championship banner into the rafters. Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders was also on hand for the 2023 NBA tip-off. Prime later joined his players in the stands and made his first appearance at a Nuggets game.

Hunter hosts '12 Talks' for Bleacher Report, which is owned by Turner Sports. It's only natural he would be at the game with his QB as well. Sanders hasn't inked any media NIL but I'm sure something will be in the works after his on-air debut. They had a courtside camera on them with commentary throughout the game. We'll see if The Joker or LeBron James end up pulling off 'The Shedeur' after a big play.

Colorado is in the midst of preparing for 23rd-ranked UCLA. A Pac-12 meeting at the Rose Bowl on Saturday with TV coverage on ABC. It's the final scheduled trip to California for the Buffs.
