Colorado's Shilo Sanders taken to hospital after Oregon loss
The Colorado Buffaloes knew Shilo Sanders was one of the hardest hitting on the team. But he might've gone too far. Coach Prime's middle son and the Buffs defensive back was taken to the hospital following Colorado's 42-6 loss to the 9th-ranked Oregon Ducks on Saturday.
Sanders was walking off the team plane and told Deion Sanders Jr. of Well Off Media that he was urinating blood from a suspected hit to the kidney. He said would be heading to the hospital for further evaluation.
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders didn't mention anything about the injury in his postgame press conference. It's likely Shilo noticed the symptoms on the way home.
Sanders made seven tackles against the Ducks. The Jackson State transfer was a bright spot in the Buffs secondary with the absence of Travis Hunter, who's out a few weeks with a lacerated liver. No word on Sanders' status going into this week's matchup with No. 8 USC.
