Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter avoid pregame player fight

The Rocky Mountain Showdown has been amplified by a thousand with all the pregame jawing back-and-forth. It started with the comments from CSU coach Jay Norvell toward Colorado's Deion Sanders, but the players are feeling it now too.

Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders and two-way stud Travis Hunter came out during pregame warm-ups and found himself in the middle of pushing and shoving at midfield from players on both sides. The Heisman hopefuls quickly exited while the players were broken up. 

This is expected to be one of the most heated Rocky Mountain Showdowns to date with Sanders and the Buffs feeling disrespected by Norvell. It was a mello week before the Rams coach decided to make it personal Wednesday on his weekly radio show appearance 

Colorado looks to make it six straight over Colorado State. They come into the in-state rivalry game as 23.5-point favorites, according to BetMGM. The largest margin over the Rams in 18 years. If the Buffs can pull out a victory, it would be the longest streak dating back to 1998.
