Darrelle Revis thanks Deion Sanders in Hall of Fame Speech
Darrelle Revis was feared during his playing days. Being out on his own island in the secondary was one of the reasons why he turned in a Hall of Fame career.
The former Jets cornerback was enshrined in Canton on Saturday and thanked a handful of people who helped get him into the hall, including Deion Sanders.
"What Jordan was to Kobe, Prime is to Revis Island," Revis said.
It's perhaps one of the biggest complements Sanders has received during a HOF speech. The evidence is all there as well if you take a deep dive into both of their game tapes. Sanders might've been more flashy, but each played with the same tenacity against receivers.

The 38-year-old Revis played eleven seasons in the NFL and won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in 2015. He set the tone shortly after Sanders retired from the league and emulated the "Prime Time" style throughout his career.
Revis, a seven-time Pro Bowler, was one of two former Jets to be enshrined this weekend. He joins former defensive lineman Joe Klecko, who was a force in the Gang Green in the mid-80s.
