The Colorado Buffaloes pulled off one of the best recruiting wins in program history, with Jordan Seaton making his way to Boulder. Deion Sanders and his staff were celebrating the news with future coach Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson taking the five-star to his favorite fast food joint.

"Yo, Deion Sanders, I’m out here recruiting now you can hire me," Johnson wrote. "I got Jordan Seaton to commit & eat McDonald’s.

It sounded like a good plan, except Coach Prime had to set his dear friend straight on his bad decision.

"We're KFC, by the way," Sanders wrote. "If you're gonna recruit, let's get the sponsors straight. Great job, tho. we need another DOGG DT that's hungry. "We ain't hard 2 find!"

Seaton wrapped up the early Signing Day period for Colorado. The highest-rated offensive lineman gave the Buffs a sixth player on the books heading into 2024. A major prospect to anchor the line and protect Shedeur Sanders. He's currently the No. 25 overall recruit, according to 247Sports.

The IMG Academy standout was rumored to be shopping around prior to committing to CU, but there was no truth to any of the hype. Seaton went on FOX Sports' Undisputed after commiting to the Buffs and praised Coach Prime for his efforts.

"You've got to believe in Coach Prime," Seaton said. "Having the opportunity to play with somebody who's done it at the highest level, a [Hall of Fame] level. Very few can say they did that. I've got two Heisman candidates, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, they're amazing. You know how they go. If you ain't rocking with us and you claim you're a dawg, why are you not coming to Colorado?"

Sanders has netted the top player from Florida in each of the past two recruiting classes. Seaton is No. 3 on CU's top-rated recruits list since 2000, according to 247Sports. The only two above Seaton are running back Darrell Scott, who eventually transferred to South Florida, and Colorado native Marcus Houston.
