Deion Sanders tells Lebron James, "I got you covered," with Diamond Turf 3's

Coach Prime shows off The King's new shoes

Deion Sanders took time out of his busy schedule to get down to business with "The King." The Colorado Buffaloes coach posted the new-look Diamond Turf 3's from Nike that they'll be sporting this season, which caught the attention of Lebron James.

The NBA's all-time leading scorer asked Coach Prime for a sneaker swap. But Sanders did him one better by telling the Los Angeles Lakers star, "I got you covered," and showing off the shoe in LeBron's size.

A heartfelt message from Sanders to James, whose relationship has gone back over the past two decades. The career for the NBA star was peaking right about the time Deion decided to "hang it up" for good. Even though both are considered GOATs of their respective sports.

James went to the NBA right out of high school and was noted as Ohio's top football player in 2003. He was offered a tryout with the Cleveland Browns in 2009 but declined to entertain the offer.

Sanders and the Buffs are entering the final days of Fall Camp ahead of game week for TCU. A Big Noon matchup on Sept. 2 in Fort Worth.
