If you ever wanted to be mentored by Coach Prime, here's your chance. Well, at least in the virtual world.

Deion Sanders was added to EA Sports Madden 24's lineup to help guide your success in the video game's return of 'Superstar' mode. In an early preview of the full deluxe version that drops on Aug. 15, Prime can be called upon for advice throughout your journey.

"When looking at feedback our players have given us in response to career modes over the past several years, it’s clear that the career experience Madden gamers want most is Superstar," according to a statement by EA.

"A career mode with NFL football as its core, gameplay as the focus of the mode and deep progression. Some specific characteristics of the beloved Superstar mode that players told us were important to them, such as a playable NFL Combine, on-field feedback and off-field perks are just a few of the features in Madden NFL 24’s modernized Superstar, where you, the player, can live your dreams as an NFL Superstar."

The process in the game is state-of-the-art, taking you from the NFL Combine to managing endorsement deals offered by top brands like Nike and Adidas. It also features a social media panel with tweets from Coach Prime on how your avatar is performing.

The official release date for Madden 24 is Aug. 18. However, those who pre-order the deluxe edition will have access three days early (Aug. 15). EA picked Buffalo Bills star QB Josh Allen to grace the cover of this year's edition.
