Deion Sanders reacts to Saturday Night Live skit

Coach Prime had no issues with his portrayal on the iconic sketch show

Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders got to watch Saturday Night Live's parody skit of him and actually enjoyed it. He was asked about the portrayal during his weekly press conference on Tuesday and applauded SNL cast member Kenan Thompson for his talents.

"I'm a fan of Kenan, let's get that straight. I love him. I love what he's brought to comedy over, what, got to be over a couple decades it seems as though," Sanders said.

Coach Prime even recalled the time he got to fulfill hosting duties nearly 30 years ago. He got to hop on stage and perform his internationally-recognized hit "Must be the Money" for the audience.

"I had the pleasure and the honor to host 'Saturday Night Live' before, and I will never forget those moments. But it was good," Sanders said. "The person who I think has me the most is... I got to give it to Lou Young," Sanders said. "I hate to admit it, but Lou is good."

One of the media members suggested that Shilo Sanders is best at imitating Coach Prime, which forced a chuckle. Sanders' middle son hilariously trolled his father on Instagram, asking to voice his audiobook. He also has a consistent track record of channeling his dad's personality.

Sanders and the Buffs travel to California for a meeting with No. 23 UCLA on Saturday, Oct. 28. The game will be broadcast on ABC with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET.
