Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders posted an Instagram video on Thursday to clear up some of the ambiguity regarding his health.

Coach Prime said he plans to have procedures to repair a dislocation in his left foot as well as multiple hammer toes. However, these surgeries are on hold until he has proper blood flow in his leg.

“I went to the doctor the other day to check myself out, and I have two clots in my legs,” said Coach Prime.

“One in right leg and one in my left which is in my thighs. So now I’m having a procedure tomorrow to try and get those clots so now I can have proper blood flow to the leg so they can fix the toes.

Coach Prime went on to say, “There’s no talk of amputation, there’s no talk of any of that whatsoever. The doctor was just telling me that if worse comes to worst this was going to happen but, I believe in staying right so we never have to take that left.”

Despite any obstacles he has in front of him, Coach has managed to stay in good spirits. He joked about how seemingly everyone now has a quick fix for him but, where were they the last two years? He also had a good laugh from one email in particular.

“They said they had the remedy where all my toes will grow back……Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your support! And you gotta understand, I ain’t going nowhere…..because we coming!”
