Deion Sanders says ‘I don’t give a darn about no bowl’

Coach Prime says the focus is on getting a win and not bowl eligibility
In this story:

Coach Prime put it as bluntly as possible, “I don’t give a darn about no bowl [game]. We’re trying to win, period.”

Truthfully, this is what every coach and player needs to be focused on. You can’t win multiple games without first winning one. Any win is what this team can really use right about now. Unfortunately, after the Stanford collapse, they’ll need more than one win to make a bowl. Can they do it? Let’s take a look at the remaining games.

Nov. 4 Oregon State

After losing to Arizona, the Beavers will be a determined bunch heading into Boulder next Saturday. This is going to take a Herculean effort but, this is college football, and crazier things have happened. Especially, with 'Pac-12 After Dark' on the books.

Nov. 11 Arizona

Remember when this game looked like a sure win? Yeah, not so much anymore. The Wildcats have been on a roll. Jedd Fisch has his squad up to 5-3 and well positioned for their first bowl game since 2017. Deion Sanders was actually had Fisch as an assistant coach during his final NFL years with the Baltimore Ravens.

Nov. 17 at Washington State

Well, things have suddenly taken a turn here. I had this game down as loss but now, I’m not so sure what to think. The Pac-12 is tricky to predict this season. After a 4-0 start, the Cougars are now .500 at 4-4. This Friday night showdown in Pullman could be much more competitive than originally thought. It's a week before the Apple Cup with Washington, too.

Nov. 25 at Utah

This is a really difficult spot. I think Colorado needs to win two of the next three and not count on going to Utah and getting a win. Stranger things have happened in Salt Lake City and this game could be a "resting" period for the Utes after Thanksgiving. We'll what happens.

Conclusion

It’s not looking good. Everybody needs to do their job and find a way to knock off Oregon State. Anything can happen Any Given Saturday.
