The Colorado Buffaloes were embarrassed in a 56-14 loss to Washington State on Friday night. It was a forgettable contest with Deion Sanders' team falling for a fifth straight time at the close of the season. What makes this loss even tougher is the Buffs were eliminated from postseason contention.

Despite the difficult stretch for Sanders, Skip Bayless still fully supports Coach Prime. The FOX Sports analyst doubled-down and issued a message to the naysayers who are chanting in the face of the Buffs' decline.

"Deion doubters: Enjoy this while you can," Bayless wrote in a tweet on X.

Sanders' relationship with Bayless goes back decades to the mid-90s with them both being in Dallas. They've fostered a friendship with the two appearing on TV and in public together over the years. Sanders' best friend, Michael Irvin, was recently hired as a co-host on FOX's Undisputed with Bayless.

Colorado came into the season on top of the sports world after starting 3-0. Sanders and the Buffs looked to be unstoppable before hitting a fired up Oregon team. It was the first major letdown in the rebuild process in Boulder. However, it hasn't stopped the progress from happening. We knew CU came into the season with one of the most difficult schedules on the books. They were still able to exceed expectations in Sanders' first year, which Bayless and others see as a huge positive for the future.

The Buffs travel for the final time in 2023 with a Rumble in the Rockies meeting at No. 22 Utah next Saturday.
