Everyone has been on edge after Colorado's historically terrible loss vs. Stanford on Friday night. It took NBC's Saturday Night Live to break the ice with a skit on Weekend Update with Colin Jost and Michael Che.

Kenan Thompson made a cameo appearance playing Deion Sanders. The former ‘All That’ actor and cast mainstay channeled his inner Coach Prime with several zingers and back-and-forth banter.

He opened by saying, "We just keep winning, man. Every game. Every minute. We are winning at life." Jost responded by burning Colorado, saying, "Yeah, you're also 4-3. So, you have lost a few."

The comment took Thompson deeping in character while taking his Blender shades off and doing a take off Sanders' famed "Opinion of me" quote.

After the rant, Jost came back by asking about the fall apart for CU. "Just last night, you lost to Stanford in double overtime," Jost said.

Thompson fired off, "Wasn't that crazy? Man, we were up twenty-nine to nothing at the half. So, I went home and fell asleep. Woke up this morning as shocked as anyone."

The skit continued with Thompson talking about Sanders' transition from Jackson State to Colorado. "You know, I truly believe God called me there. Saying this is your destiny."

Jost clapped back by pointing out, "And then three years later, you went to Colorado?" Thompson's response was outstanding. "Because God called me then and was like 'My bad'."

"He showed me the promised land of Colorado. I had these visions, Colin. A place where there were white people. Like every single person was white. Not many people know this, but Colorado is a "HWCU" or historically white college."

They threw to a clip of Sanders' actual SNL performance of "Must be the Money" from two decades ago. It was a great highlight from one of Coach Prime's lesser-known talents.

Colorado shakes off the loss to Stanford with a bye week. They'll be back in action against UCLA on Oct. 28 from the Rose Bowl.
