Shedeur Sanders might've secured a spot in the Heisman running, but an NFL GOAT is still chomping at him heels.

The Colorado Buffaloes QB led his team to victory over Colorado State on Saturday night and celebrated by texting his mentor Tom Brady. An unbelievable final sequence of the game with Sanders pulling off a 98-yard scoring drive to force overtime.

Brady applauded Sanders but was critical of the young QB's path going forward.

"(Shedeur) needs to get his rich ass in the film room and stay there as much as possible and less time in his car," Brady said on ESPN’s Let's Go Podcast.

The QB legend has been working with Sanders since his high school days in Dallas. They've maintained a great relationship with each other and Brady's brand even inked 'SS2' to one of his first NIL deals.

Sanders followed his father to Colorado after spending two years at Jackson State. He earned the Deacon Jones Award last year as the HBCU Player of the Year.

Sanders has thrown for 1,251 yards and ten touchdowns this season. No. 19 Colorado (3-0) heads into a top 25 battle with 10th-ranked Oregon on Saturday. Ducks QB Bo Nix was also part of the Heisman hype going into the season. There were even billboards in NYC's Time Square promoting his candidacy. The two Pac-12 passers are expected to dual in front of a record national audience this weekend.
