Two-time World Record holder tells Shedeur Sanders he's ready to work with him

Colorado's "Grown" QB got a special visit from a "Lethal Shooter"

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes had a special visitor at the Champion Center this week. Chris Matthews made his way around the facility introducing himself to the team and caught the attention of Shedeur Sanders. The CU quarterback was intrigued by the man known as the "Lethal Shooter" because of his background as basketball's most sought-after training coach.

Matthews trains some of the top Nike athletes in the world and offered his services to Sanders. While he admitted he hasn't played football since the tenth grade, he does plan on being around to show Coach Prime's middle son a few pointers. It would give Shedeur an alternate perspective from a two-time Guinness World Record holder.

Coach Prime also sat down with Matthews for a brief conversation. They discussed fatherhood and life around the game of basketball. One of the better moments captured by Well Off Media. Sanders said this year will be emotional for him because it's the last year he'll get to coach his sons.

Outside of football, Prime will be busy on the road over the next couple months. He'll be appearing at some speaking engagements around the country, along with promoting his new book, "Elevate and Dominate: 21 Ways to Win on and off the Field," which will hit stores on March 12. This comes before Nike is scheduled to have a wide release of Sanders' signature shoe, the Air Max Diamond Turf Prime 96's, on April 25th. Two days before Colorado's Black and Gold Spring Game in Boulder.

The Buffs will continue offseason strength and conditioning drills before a 28-day practice window that starts at the end of the month.
