WATCH: Shedeur Sanders and Colorado convert two 4th downs on game tying drive

Buffaloes and Arizona State tied up headed to the second quarter.

What a drive a from Colorado!

It was just your typical 16 play and 75 yard touchdown drive! More importantly, it was the perfect response from the Buffs after falling behind early.

The Buffaloes surrendered a touchdown on Arizona State’s first possession. Trenton Bourguet capped a nine play drive with a short touchdown run.

After a quick three and out on Colorado’s opening drive, you couldn’t help but think this might be another slow start from the Buffaloes.

However, Shedeur Sanders wasn’t having any of that. Key play was a 4th down completion to Dylan Edwards to keep the drive alive. Another 4th down jet sweep to Xavier Weaver put the Buffs on the scoreboard.

It was a big drive for Anthony Hankerson. He ended the the first quarter with 26 yards rushing and 17 receiving . Michael Harrison also had a big catch to set up the Buffs down near the goal line.
