WATCH: Troy Aikman's interview with Deion Sanders on ESPN College Gameday

The Monday Night Football commentator believes in what's happening at Colorado

Troy Aikman went on the record with his former Cowboys teammate ahead of the huge TCU matchup. The ESPN MNF analyst expressed his excitement for the next chapter for Coach Prime.

Deion Sanders spent the entire off-season trying to rebuild a Colorado program in the face of scrutiny from several levels. Aikman asked if the opinions of fellow coaches weighed in the mind of the Buffs coach. As you can expect, Prime doesn't care about the noise.

Sanders brings his Hall of Fame resume into the next level of his career. What's misleading is that people forget to remember that he's been coaching a long time, even past Jackson State.

The legendary QB is rooting for the Buffs and Sanders success. It's clear as Cowboys legends enjoyed the moment of reaching this point. Aikman moved over to ESPN's Monday Night Football coverage with his longtime broadcaster Joe Buck. With Sanders breaking into Power Five coaching, it's all about winning at the highest level. As Aikman said, It's hard for a great player to move on to being a great coach.

Coach Prime and the Buffaloes shocked the world with a 45-42 win over last year's national runner-up No. 17 TCU. Aikman was never counting out CU to pull off the upset in Sanders' debut, but can't wait to see the rest of the season.
