Report Card: Which Colorado players and coaches earned their “Louis Vuitton” luggage?
There’s a lot of Louis to go around after the dramatic 36-14 victory.
Here’s our Louis Luggage Report Card:
Special Teams
What a jump from week one to two! Last week, by surrendering a blocked field and a long return, this group would have earned no luggage. But, against Nebraska it was a completely different story. Jace Feely was perfect on extra points and field goals. Nothing but touchbacks on kickoffs. A big step up game over game.

Quarterback
We’re following Shedeur’s lead on this grade. He clearly wasn’t thrilled with the offensive production. For anyone else, 393 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions would seem like a really good day. Since he holds himself to a higher standard, so will we.

Running Backs
This wasn’t a particularly productive game but, they were effective in limited opportunities. Dylan Edwards averaged over six yards a carry on nine attempts. Anthony Hankerson had six handoffs for 26 yards.

Offensive Line
If we are being honest, this unit has probably struggled the most collectively over the first two games. That said, they have also proven to be far more cohesive than could have been predicted. They had a very difficult task in front of them and, for the most part, have responded accordingly. I think they only go up from here.
We’ll go with an extra bag for Gerad Christian-Lichter who won Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the week.

Wide Receivers
Xavier Weaver, Jimmy Horn Jr, and Travis Hunter have flourished in both games. Tar’Varish Dawson emerged as another weapon on Saturday. It’s crazy to think that there’s still several more receivers on the bench capable of big things. This groups is loaded.

Tight Ends
This group was a concern coming out of camp but, so far, have held up well. Michael Harrison has made some key grabs, especially on third down. It will be interesting to see if the coaching staff looks to add more depth to this position (and others) during the season. Whenever a coach is fired, there is an immediate transfer portal window opened for eligible players. This is something to keep an eye on. Last year, including Karl Dorrel at Colorado, seven coaches were fired before the end of October.

Defensive Line
Strong performances along the line. Leonard Payne Jr. and Taijh Alston were a disruptive force.

Linebackers
Tremendous pressure and a great tackling from this group. If they keep performing like this, the team will be very tough to beat.

Secondary
Special recognition to Carter Stoutmire who made several huge plays. Big interception from Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig. And, of course, Travis Hunter is HIM.

Coaching
Incredible, and deeply “personal” pregame speech, set the tone for game. Second half adjustments, especially on along the defensive line and pressure situations, were spot on. Two wins in a row where in-game adjustments have paid off in the second half.
