Long before Shedeur Sanders was picked to be a counselor at the Manning Passing Academy, he had a chance to workout with several gridiron legends.

We already knew about Tom Brady!

Brady has spoken highly of Shedeur on several occasions. Last October, during the BRADY brand launch, the future Pro Football Hall of Famer  had this to say, “Shedeur Sanders is the perfect ambassador for BRADY. He embodies everything we look for in a BRADY athlete and his character and values align perfectly with our brand. Not only is he an exceptional football player and quarterback but he is one of the most influential players of his generation.”

Shedeur has also spoken favorably about the 7-time Super Bowl winner, “I went down to Tampa and trained with Tom before he was with the Bucs and he was just a real cool person……whenever I needed something, I reached out to him, which is amazing. He's the GOAT, he's the best player in the world, and for me to be playing in the same position as him is truly amazing. So that's how the relationship started, and then an idea came out, my team and his team got together, and the rest is history."

So, how is Peyton Manning involved in Shedeur’s development?

Well, this week, Manning’s Omaha Productions released an extended cut of Deion’s episode of Peyton’s Places.

Here, we see Shedeur getting in some reps while his father and Peyton rotate between wide receiver and cornerback.

Shedeur learned some valuable lessons that day on ball control and the secrets to executing the legendary, “Peyton Manning naked bootleg.”

Deion has been very vocal on just how incredibly difficult it can be to defend against Manning’s play action passes.

On Peyton’s ball fake prowess, Deion shared, “..we always say if you can see the naked hand, you can start the band.”

Any inspiration Sheduer gains from these legends, or the numerous other professional quarterbacks he’s worked with, will only strengthen his game.

Shedeur definitely has what it takes to be great. And he has a lot of people in his corner rooting him on.
