Coach Prime says Shilo and Shedeur Sanders will enter 2025 NFL Draft
Deion Sanders isn't going to send his sons off to the NFL in April. He's been adamant that sons Shilo and Shedeur will stay with him at Colorado and be part of the 2025 NFL Draft.
"They're going to come out at the same time... next year," Sanders said on The Dan Patrick Show. "They're not trying to leave Daddy this year, by the way."
The Sanders sons have NFL dreams at some point down the road. Coach Prime told Bleacher Report eariler this season that unless Shedeur was a top five pick, there was no reason for him to leave CU and would make more NIL money.
ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. ranked Shedeur Sanders as the third-best NFL ready QB. He has thrown for 2,882 yards and 24 touchdowns this season. He'll likely set a few school records over the course of the final three games.
As for Shilo, the Buffs hard-hitting safety has been a steady contributor in the secondary with 45 tackles, two forced fumbles, and a pick-six vs. CSU. He missed a part of the season with a lacerated kidney.
Both would be great players for any NFL team. Prime just hopes it's a situation with great coaching and a system friendly for them to work.
