Coach Prime says Shilo Sanders ejection for targeting was "Horrendous"

Sanders was upset with the ruling on the field from the Pac-12 officials

Shilo Sanders showed off his strength against UCLA, but it cost him.

The Colorado Buffaloes defensive back was ejected for targeting with 3:23 left in the first half for a tough hit. It looked to be a legal blow, but the call was upheld after review.

A monumental loss for Charles Kelly's defense. Sanders stood up UCLA's Carson Steele and won the battle by forcing a fumble with the Bruins driving earlier in the game. It was another highlight for the Jackson State transfer, who came up with a huge play.

Colorado coach Deion Sanders said the call was "horrendous" during his ABC halftime hit. The Buffs took an early lead off over No. 23 UCLA with two Alejandro Mata field goals. They're sticking close with the Bruins, down 7-6 at halftime. Shedeur Sanders started off strong, but haven't fully cashed in on possessions due to protection issues.

Travis Hunter has two of CU's four turnovers in the game. Colorado will look to stack up some type of momentum with the defense outworking UCLA's offense.
