The Colorado Buffaloes are 54 days away from facing TCU to open the 2023 football season, and there's no shortage of talk about what's going on in Boulder. Three of Coach Prime's new receivers made the Pac-12's ones to know list. Let's just say the Florida-Georgia connection is strong for Colorado.

South Florida Bulls wide receiver Xavier Weaver (10) catches a pass during the first half against the Brigham Young Cougars at Raymond James Stadium.

Xavier Weaver (USF transfer)

Weaver is underrated and one of the best route runners currently at CU. He joins the Buffaloes after a solid 2022 season at South Florida with 53 receptions, 718 receiving yards, and 6 TDs. On par with his totals from 2021 with 715 yards and two TDs. He earned second-team All-AAC honors for his efforts last year.

South Florida Bulls wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. (5) runs with the ball against the UCF Knights during the fourth quarter at Raymond James Stadium

Jimmy Horn Jr. (USF transfer)

One of the names heard several times during Coach Prime's transition period to Colorado is Horn. Like Weaver, the speedster wideout comes to CU from South Florida following a breakout season. He's a threat every time he touches the football with a Devin Hester like mentality.

Horn was a Christmas commit for the Buffs. He had 37 receptions, 551 receiving yards, and 3 TDs last season. Both Horn and Weaver and Top 100 receivers, according to Pro Football Focus.

Travis Hunter (Jackson State transfer)

This was an honorable mention pick for the Pac-12. Mostly because Hunter is a top defender with a two-way background. You can expect 'T-Hunt' to hold down the secondary corner position with a mix of snaps at wide receiver next year. He's one of Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders' best friends from their JSU days, and the two have chemistry. The SWAC Freshman of the Year looks to show why he was a top recruit from the 2022 class from Suwanee, GA.
