Shedeur Sanders had a record-setting day in Colorado's 45-42 upset of 17th-ranked TCU on Saturday. The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback earned Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors, per an announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

Sanders finished with a CU record 510 yards and four touchdowns. He became one of three QBs in Pac-12 history to eclipse the half-century mark in passing yards. It was quite a way to open the season for the Buffs as a whole in a game they were 20.5-point underdogs.

Travis Hunter was one of four CU receivers with at least 100 yards. He also picked off TCU's Chandler Morris in a stunning touchdown saving move. The former five-star recruit is the first player in 20 years to record a touchdown and an interception in the same game. He earned Pac-12 defensive player of the week honors for his efforts.

Colorado welcomes Nebraska into Boulder for Folsom Field's 100th home opener on Saturday, Sept. 9. The Buffs are currently 2.5-point favorites. The renewal of the former Big Eight rivalry is sold out with tickets going for a record amount on the reseller sites.
