It was a wild sequence of events that led to Shilo Sanders putting the Colorado Buffaloes up 7-0.

Two plays before the interception, Colorado State connected on a 50 yard field. However, a personal foul gave the Rams tan opportunity to extend the drive and Jay Norvell opted to take the points off the board.

As it turns out, that was Norvell’s second worst decision of the week, so far.

Two plays later Shilo Sanders picked off Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi and took it 80 yards to house for the opening score.

Mark Jones said it best in his play by play call of the touchdown, “Real estate ahead…Sanders…showing them his shoe bottoms…stunting like his daddy.”

That was Shilo’s six career collegiate interception.
